Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern all driving tuition, driving courses and any associated services provided by Exeter Intensives.
Eligibility
You must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving license.
You must disclose any medical condition, disability, criminal conviction, driving ban or driving endorsements.
Course Reservation
Intensive driving courses always need to be planned and scheduled between 4-12 weeks in advance.
Once booked, these course dates are removed from availability and reserved exclusively for the student.
By paying a non refundable deposit, the student accepts that Instructor availability and vehicle availability have been allocated to their booking.
Course Fees
Full payment must be received no later than 14 days before the commencement of the course.
Cancellation Policy
More than 28 days before the course start date, any fees paid, excluding the deposit, may be refunded.
Within 14 days, no refund will be provided.
In exceptional circumstances, Exeter Intensives may offer an ex gratia payment for any unused driving lessons.
If so, this would equate to 50% of the original fees.
Fitness to Drive
Students must not attend courses whilst under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, medication causing impairment or excessive fatigue.
Instructor Cancellation
Lessons may need be rearranged due to illness, vehicle breakdown, emergencies or any other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Conduct and Behaviour
Exeter Intensives operates a zero tolerance policy towards abuse, threatening behaviour, harassment, intimidation, violence and discrimination.
All remaining tuition will be terminated immediately without refund and reported to The Police and Driving Vehicle & Standards Agency.
Use of the Tuition Vehicle
DVSA prohibit Instructors from taking a student for their test if they have not completed the full DVSA syllabus and reached DVSA test standard.
If so, the vehicle will not be available to use for a driving test and the test will need to be rescheduled to a later date, to allow for further training.
Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and used solely for legitimate business purposes.
Attendance and Punctuality
All courses start and finish from our Exeter office, we do not offer pick up or drop off services at any other location.
Please arrive at the agreed time, lost time due to lateness, will not be recoverable.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are fully compliant with The Consumer Rights Act 2015.
